Connect custom domains for funnels, websites, stores, and blogs.

What is Domains?

Domains lets you attach your own domain or subdomain so published sites and funnels can use your brand’s web address. Open it at app.swai.ai/setting/domains.

You use it to:

Connect domain and add DNS records at your domain provider (or set them up automatically when supported)
Optionally add a www address
Review connected domains and remove ones you no longer need

Warning: This page is not the same as Settings → Email System → Domains (open). Email System is for sending email. This page is for site, funnel, store, and blog addresses.

Before you start

Own the domain at a provider where you can add DNS records.
Decide whether you connect the main domain (example.com) or a subdomain (go.example.com).
DNS changes can take time (often minutes to hours).

Tip: Use a full domain with an ending such as .com (for example example.com), not a bare name like resyncquiz.

Quick start

Open Settings → Domains → Connect domain (or go to app.swai.ai/setting/domains).
Enter the domain → Continue.
If SWAI offers Set up DNS with {provider}, choose it and confirm on your provider’s site. Otherwise (or if you prefer), add the records shown on screen at your domain provider, then click Connect.
Confirm the domain appears under Connected domains.

Connected domains

Section: Connected domains — Domains linked to your brand. Add DNS records at your domain provider to complete setup.

Connect domain

Step 1 — Enter domain

Subtitle: Enter the domain or subdomain you want to connect.

Field	Notes
Domain*	Placeholder `example.com or sub.example.com`

Helper: Use a full domain with TLD (e.g. example.com), not just a name like resyncquiz.

Click Continue.

Step 2 — DNS setup

SWAI checks whether your domain provider can set up DNS for you automatically.

Automatic setup (when available)

Subtitle explains setup with your provider (for example GoDaddy or IONOS).

You confirm the DNS change on the provider’s site, then return to SWAI. The domain is connected automatically on return.

Manual setup

Subtitle: Add these DNS records at your domain provider, then confirm.

Copy the Record, Host, and Required value from the screen. Typical values:

Domain type	Record	Host	Required value

Subdomain	CNAME	(your subdomain)	`domainservice.swai.ai`

Optional: Also add www subdomain → add the WWW record shown (CNAME / www / domainservice.swai.ai).

If automatic setup was offered, you can switch back with Use automatic setup with {provider}.

Buttons: Back, Connect.

Note: Always copy the values shown in SWAI for your domain. If anything differs, use what the screen shows.

Delete domain

Open delete on a row.
Modal Delete domain: Are you sure you want to delete this domain? This action cannot be undone.
Delete or Cancel.

Removing the domain in SWAI does not remove DNS at your provider — clean those up if you no longer need them.

Common warnings and troubleshooting

Domain won’t connect / site doesn’t resolve

Confirm the records match the Connect screen exactly (or that automatic setup finished successfully).
Wait for DNS to update, then try again.
If you enabled Also add www subdomain, add the www record too.
Confirm you used Settings → Domains (or go to app.swai.ai/setting/domains; not Email System).

Automatic setup isn’t offered

Not every domain provider supports one-click DNS setup. When it isn’t available, use the manual records shown on screen.

When SWAI can tell why automatic setup isn’t available, the Connect screen explains it. Manual records still work in every case.

I need email on this domain

Set up sending under Email System. Site domains and email domains are separate setups.

Validation rejects my domain

Include the full ending (.com, .ai, and so on). Subdomains must be complete (for example go.example.com).
