QR Codes

Create QR codes for URLs, contact cards, WiFi, and more — with optional lead capture.


What is QR Codes?

QR Codes lets you create and manage scannable codes for your brand. People can go Direct to the destination or fill in a SWAI contact form first (Lead capture). Open it at app.swai.ai/setting/qr-codes.

You use it to:

Before you start

  1. Know the destination (URL, booking link, WiFi, and so on).
  2. If you want lead capture, decide which contact lists should receive people.
  3. Sign in on the correct brand.

Tip: Lead capture shows a contact form before the destination — useful for print ads, booths, and packaging.


Quick start

  1. Open Settings → QR CodesCreate QR code (or go to app.swai.ai/setting/qr-codes).
  2. Enter a Name, choose QR type, and fill the fields for that type.
  3. Optionally enable Capture leads before action and select lists.
  4. Review PreviewCreate QR code.
  5. Use Download PNG from the list when you need a file.

Scan mode badges:

Capture leads

Help When enabled, scanners see a SWAI contact form first. After submitting, they are redirected to the configured action.
Add leads to lists (optional) Choose lists; type a new name to create one (Create list "{name}")

If a list cannot be created, you may see Error / Could not create list or List was not created.

Preview shows the QR before you save.

Delete QR code

Modal Delete QR code: Are you sure you want to delete this QR code? This action cannot be undone.Delete / Cancel.


Common warnings and troubleshooting

QR won’t create

Fix the messages on the form for the active type. Confirm new lists created successfully if you typed a new list name.

Lead capture but no contact

Confirm Capture leads before action is on and lists are selected. Check CRM for the contact and list. Dashboard Contacts alerts depend on Notifications.

Download missing

Use Download PNG from the list after the code exists.

Wrong destination after scan

Edit the QR, verify the type fields and lead capture setting, then Save changes.
